Simplify return and warranty processes by using Prophet 21 to generate return material authorizations (RMAs) for each product that moves off of your premises. By requiring customers to submit RMAs with all returns, you can better manage inventory and accounting issues and ensure that you only accept products you actually sold.

When customers return goods with RMAs, you can generate cash or credit refunds through Prophet 21, and return the stock to inventory or discard it, depending on the issue. If you discard the stock, Prophet 21 factors the cost of the item into the moving average cost of the particular SKU, so you will recover any losses.
